We will need to collect necessary information when ordering from this website as once your order is placed we will send a confirmation email and again, once your order is out for delivery with the accompanying tracking number. Until such time that full payment has been made, we retain the legal ownership of all products. If a refund is processed by Pavilion Ayurveda of a product purchased on this website, we will regain the rights to that protect and the ownership of such. Your private and confidential information will under no circumstance be unnecessarily shared with a third party. We do not store your data needlessly but when we do, we analyse site usage, such as how many visitors we receive and how much time is spent on the site for a period of 56 months. There are circumstances where we share some of your data with third parties, these are; Credit card details will be shared with our agents, (credit reference agencies, credit card clearing agencies, fraud prevention and detection agencies) and our fulfilment partners that we use to process the orders you place with us or who assist us in the service we provide to you. In these instances, we provide them with only the information they need to perform their function.
We use the information provided by you to: - Process any order or enquiry by you - For statistical purposes to establish the popularity of product ranges to ensure on-going availability of these products - To administer our business - To notify you of any product developments which may be of interest to you, but only if you have opted in to receive our updates & newsletters.
Payments: Online purchases are payable on the Shopify or PayPal gateway system. Data supplied on this gateway are encrypted and are not shared with Pavilion Ayurveda or its partners to ensure security of your payments, such data is owned by Shopify or PayPal themselves.
We will not pass your credit card details onto anyone other than parties detailed above and will take all reasonable care to keep your order secure, but in the absence of our sole negligence we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorised access to any of your data, including credit card details that you have provided.
In the unlikely event that our business may be sold to another company then the data records that make up part of our business will be transferred.
To ensure our partners also compile with the same standards of GDPR, we have reviewed their safeguarding procedures and believe they have demonstrated sufficient duty of care in handling your data and are in compliance with the GDPR.
